Ensuring that local students are given a chance to
think, learn, and play creatively.

Stay Young 2017 is an arts education partnership with Downey Unified School District comprised of student art exhibits, festivals, field trips, and student-run volunteer programs. We believe the arts help students ignite the inner creativity that is necessary to succeed in the 21st century.

By ensuring that all students are given a chance to think, learn, and play creatively, we can build the foundation for the City of Downey to become the creative capital of Southeast Los Angeles.

Access To The Arts = Higher Graduation Rates

Art Education prepares students for a globally competitive workforce by developing the ability to innovate, communicate, and collaborate. With art education, students are more likely to receive higher test scores, be engaged in the classroom, and graduate with higher GPA's.

So how do we fix the lack of Art Education?

ART EXHIBITS  -  FESTIVALS  -  FIELD TRIPS  -  VOLUNTEER PROGRAMS

The programs we provide give students the opportunity to experience leadership, collaboration, and learn firsthand about local culture, history, economy, and government.
