Shabla Field Trip
Stay Gallery is honored to have its first Artist-in-Residence, Downey's own Roy Anthony Shabla -- painter, poet, filmmaker -- from December 5th to January 28th, 2017. He will be painting large eighteen-foot abstractions, the largest the gallery has shown.
Shabla will also be hosting community days where the public is encouraged to participate through painting, and film nights where the public can watch films about art with the artist.
Come visit Stay Gallery and see Shabla at work during his two-month residency! Follow Stay Gallery on Instagram and Facebook to be the first to hear about these community days, film nights, and field trips!
