Paint Class Policies

General

  • The bar area, upstairs office and storage room are strictly off limits to guests.

  • Children must be supervised by a parent or a responsible adult.

  • Smoking or vaping is prohibited inside the space or within 25 ft of the doors.

  • Confetti, glitter and body paint are strictly prohibited.


Arrival

The host/contact person is welcome to arrive 1 hour early to decorate and set up. Guests are welcome to arrive 30 minutes early to socialize and get settled in. For example, if the paint class begins at 6:00pm, the host may arrive at 5:00pm and guests at 5:30pm. We encourage all guests to arrive at least 10 minutes early to begin the class promptly at the event start time.


Cleaning

Cleaning fees are wrapped into the booking rate. Please leave the space in the same condition you received it in. Remove all items and clean any noticeable messes caused by guests. Please do not pour food or drinks down our sinks.


Security & Staff

Security cameras are installed throughout the gallery. Stay Gallery staff will be present during the event for general oversight. We reserve the right to refuse service and/or remove any attendant that is engaging in disorderly conduct or causing verbal / physical harm to other attendees, Stay staff, artwork and/or the space.


Gallery Walls

Our gallery walls are intended to serve as a unique backdrop for your paint class, featuring the work of local artists during our regularly scheduled exhibitions. Gallery walls are not included in your booking, meaning you are prohibited from removing installed artwork or using the walls to display your own decorations. Writing on, nailing and/or drilling into, or using the gallery walls in any way without prior consent is strictly prohibited. You will be liable for any damage inflicted on the gallery walls and/or displayed artwork.

Food & Beverages

You are welcome to bring your own pre-made food and non-alcoholic beverages for attendees to enjoy indoors. If food and beverages are to be sold, you must provide your own POS / cash management system and staff. Food preparation and/or cooking is prohibited.


Alcohol

In-house bar
We are happy to provide our in-house bar for your paint class for no fee. We offer a selection of beer, wine, seltzers and non-alcoholic beverages for attendees to purchase.

Open bar
An open bar for beer, wine and/or liquor is permitted under the following circumstances:

  • Event insurance is required.

  • You are responsible for providing alcohol.

  • Selling of alcohol is strictly prohibited.

  • No attendees from the event are allowed behind the bar or to serve their own drinks.

  • Alcohol must be served by a designated staff person who has experience serving alcohol, a professional 3rd party company, or by Stay Gallery staff for an additional service fee of $100.


Insurance

We strongly advise you to acquire event insurance for the duration of your rental. Any claims, loss, damage, injury and/or death during the event will be your responsibility. You can find low-cost event insurance on theeventhelper.com.


Deposit & Cancellations

Non-refundable deposit (50% of payment) is due upon booking. Balance is due 24 hours to the event date. Cancellations must be made at least two business days prior to the event date. If cancellation is made within two business days, full payment is non-refundable.
